Day 1
Marrakech – High Atlas mountains – Agdz
The departure for this Sahara desert tour from Marrakech is planned in the morning from your hotel.
Then, you take the direction of the High Atlas, where you will pass by the Col of Tizi Tichka and charming berber villages. Landscapes are amazing and your driver-guide will make you enjoy beautiful views.
Around noon you will arrive in Ouarzazate. You will stop there to have lunch. After this break, you take the road through the Anti-Atlas in the direction of the Draa valley. There are small fortified villages and palm groves throughout the journey.
The itinerary for this first day of the Marrakech Sahara tour ends in Agdz where you will spend the overnight.

Day 2
From Agdez to the Sahara desert throught the Drâa Valley
After breakfast, you start your trip in the Drâa Valley.
During this second day of your Marrakech Sahara tour, you are on the way of the Thousand Kasbahs. The architecture of South Morocco is beautiful and original. You enjoy panoramic views on the palm grove, small villages and mountains until Zagora.
In Zagora, you can enjoy lunch before continue your trip to the desert. After lunch, you pass by Tamegrout and you will stop to visit ceramic workshops. Then, you continue to the village of M’hamid.
You enjoy camel ride for the sunset in the dunes of the Sahara and after an overnight in a desert camp in M’hamid.
There is a possibility to spend the overnight in a luxury desert camp in M’hamid.
Day 3
Marrakech Sahara tour 3 days : visit of Aït Ben Haddou
On the third day of your Marrakech Sahara tour, after breakfast in the desert camp, you start your trip back to Marrakech.
On the way back, many visits are planned. You can stop to discover the Koranic Library in Tamegrout before continue to Tamnougalt.
After a lunch near to Ouarzazate, you will have the chance to visit the Ksar and the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou with local guide. This visit over, you take the road through the Haut-Atlas via the Col Tizi Tichka and return to Marrakech at the end of the day.

This Marrakech desert trip to M’hamid El Ghizlane is a good way to discover the Sahara.
M’hamid El Ghizlane is the last village before the desert, where begins the dunes of the Sahara. The inhabitants of the village are the Sahrawis nomads. They will welcome you in a Morocco Sahara desert camp for the night in the desert. You will have the chance to sleep in authentic nomadic tents.
