Day 1
Desert tour from Fez – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Imilchil
Departure in the morning by 4X4 for your Sahara desert tour from Fez which will allow you to discover the Sahara and the Atlas mountains. Accompanied by your guide, you will first go to Imilchil.
You will pass by Ifrane, a small town called “Little Switzerland“. Located at 1713 m altitude in the Middle Atlas and very green, Ifrane is worth the visit. Then you will take the road to Azrou.
After this visit, your way continues among the small Berber villages to Imilchil. Rising to 2,200 m above sea level, it is located in the Eastern High Atlas. You will spend the night in this village.
Day 2
Imilchil – Gorges du Toudra – Djebel Saghro
The second day of your desert tour from Fez begins by a hike in the valley, all along the river. Visit of the “baraka” of Sidi Ahmed El Oulmghani, a saint marabout.
After the village of Agoudal, you will begin to descend on the south side of the High Atlas where the Toudra Canyons separate. Visit the Toudra Gorges and the palm grove. You will continue your route for another 60 km to arrive at Djebel Saghro, a summit located in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas.

Day 3
Fez Sahara tour : Djbel Saghro – N’koub- Zagora – M’Hamid
During the third day of your Morocco desert tour from Fez, enjoy many visits !
You will continue towards Jebel Saghro before reaching the village of N’koub, famous for its kasbahs. A stop is done to visit of the village. Then, you will cross the Drâa Valley with its palm trees and fortified typical villages. You discover the southern Morocco architecture.
In the village of Tamegroute you will visit the ancient Koranic library and pottery workshops.
After Tamegroute, you will descend to the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane which is at the gateway of the Sahara desert.
Enjoy sunset on the dunes, and a delicious dinner. You spend a night in the Sahara, in a nomadic desert camp.
Day 4
Desert tour from Fez –the great dunes of Erg Chigaga
On the morning of your 4th day of this Fez desert trip, after breakfast at the camp, you go visit the highest dunes in Erg Chigaga. You will enjoy lunch in a beautiful oasis.
Dinner and overnight stay in Erg Chigaga desert camp. Traditional nomadic music around a campfire. You will discover the nomadic lifestyle and culture. Enjoy your Morocco desert tour!
Day 5
Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Tisselday
After breakfast, you leave the Erg Chigaga dunes and you go on the track towards the dry lake of Iriqui. You will then take the direction of Foum Zguid. You continue to Tazenakht, a village known for the local cooperatives of manifacturing carpets. Enjoy lunch in Tazenakht before go to Tisselday. The night is planned in a typical riad.
Day 6
Desert tour from Fez : Tisselday – Imi N’Ifri – Ouzoud Waterfalls
After breakfast, you continue your 7-day tour from Fez. Departure from Tisselday direction to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. They rise 110 m high and located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas mountains. After enjoying this splendid spectacle of nature, walk in the green valley.
Day 7
Ouzoud Waterfalls – Beni Mellal – Fez
After having taken advantage of this escapade near the waterfalls of Ouzoud, you will take the road for Beni Mellal. Then you will continue to Fez, passing by small Berber villages and small towns of the Middle Atlas. Arrival in Fez in the late afternoon. End of your Morocco desert trip.
